- Rind: Bright orange color with a pebbly texture, thick, and easy to peel.
- Flesh: Divided into 10 to 12 juicy segments that are completely seedless.
Flavor and Uses
- Taste: Sweet, tangy, and low in acid.
- Best Uses: Ideal for eating fresh out of hand or adding to salads. They are not ideal for commercial juice because exposure to air causes a compound called limonin to turn the juice bitter.
